The 2024 Mansfield Hotel Tour powered by Orcoda

Saturday 16 and Sunday 17 March 2024

Brought to you by…

In 2024 the Mansfield Mt Buller Cycling Club will host The Mansfield Hotel Tour powered by Orcoda on Saturday 16 and Sunday 17 March. Just to get you in the mood, here’s a little video of the 2022 race…

Changes for 2024

New Stage 2

We are very excited that Race Director Jarrod Appleton has gained approval from the various authorities to use a new route for Stage 2, known as the Col du Tolmielet Circuit. It’s a 37km anticlockwise circuit which includes the climb up Old Tolmie Road and the magnificent flowing descent down Whitfield Road. Since the inception of the Mansfield Tour a decade ago MMBCC has dreamt of taking the race to Tolmie. These are the best roads in the Mansfield district and the ones the local cyclists use the most. We are delighted to offer the best Mansfield has to offer to participants in the 2024 tour.

Scroll down this page to Stage 2 for more details.

New start for Stage 3

Stage 3 to Mt Buller will be largely unchanged; but it will start on the Mt Buller side of Mansfield to make it easier to meet traffic management requirements.

Spectator recommendations

Stage 1

  • The ITT course is open to traffic, so travel clockwise around the course (opposite to the riders) and choose a spot. From within the Merinda Park estate, there are beautiful views across and down the Owens Creek valley towards Mansfield.

Stage 2

  • Photographers, drive north along Mansfield-Whitfield Road towards Tolmie and turn right onto the dirt of Tabletop Road, about 10km north of Mansfield. There is event parking on the right just before you get to Old Tolmie Road. Watch all the riders as they crest the main climb of the day.

  • Or keep driving down the Old Tolmie Road and turn right onto Melba Road and park. The riders will be coming past you here on the steepest part of the climb.

Stage 3

  • Get up to Mt Buller to cheer the riders as they cross the line.
