Sorry for the short timeframe but we need applications to reach us by Monday 6 July.
Successful applicants will be announced at the AGM at The Produce Store on Wednesday 19 August.

Hayden Fletcher to US
Speaking of successful grants applicants, Hayden Fletcher leaves this Saturday to spend the next three months training and racing with his Ssquared Factory Team - click here or search for them on Facebook - in Illinois. The trip will include seven USABMX national rounds all over the country.

Good luck Hayden!

Winter road races cancelled
In case you're not already aware, our winter road races have been cancelled… not for lack of riders but lack of marshals/volunteers.
We'll start summer racing in early October.
Try Wangaratta Cycling Club and, if you're old enough, Hume Vets to keep your legs turning over for Winter.
In related news, Wangaratta CC have affiliated with MTBA. So, now there's now another club where you can race on the road and on the mtb. Hopefully it means CA and MTBA will have a little more incentive to sort out a single membership form… but we're not holding our breath!

The Tour on Stage
In November the voice of cycling, Phil Liggett, and the indomitable Jen Voigt will take the stage at theatres around Australia in a brand new show, ‘The Tour on Stage’.
Tickets do not go on sale to the general public until Monday 15th June, however we would like to offer you and your cycle community access to exclusive, pre-sale tickets.
Follow this link to access the pre-sale ticketing and read more in depth information on this unique experience.
Special guests stars; some of the greatest names in world cycling, will be announced in the coming months. Keep an eye on our website www.lateralevents.com for guest announcements.
