This week... a reminder for roadies, an offer from Cycling-Inform, Sunday's gravel grind and more!
Road Race Reminder
Road racing starts again this week with the first Stump Hill Classic for a few years. And there’s loads of cash on offer too!
This is a reminder that, as usual, entries need to be in to John Eisner via SMS on 0428 503 437 by 8pm on Wednesday.
Then, on Thursday morning, we’ll be downloading the most recent members list from Cycling Australia. If you’re name is not on the list for a RACE membership, you’re not racing! Please bring your receipt with your to prove that you've renewed your membership.
Here’s the link to renew. Or go to our Join Now page to read more about it.
But please don’t turn up to race without a valid Cycling Australia RACE membership.
Also, it’s forecast to be a hot one on Thursday. If it’s too hot to race, the Commissaire will make the call on the night.
Bright Boot Camp offer
Cycling-Inform are offering four places on the February 2018 Bright Boot Camp to MMBCC members FREE (waiver of camp fee $697). Only stipulation is that you stay at Bright Chalet where the camp is based, which is $110 per night which includes three meals a day.

Sunday’s gravel ride
There are now only four spots available in the ATC bus for Sunday’s gravel ride from Swanpool to Mansfield via Tatong and Tolmie.
Email Bruce at ATC to reserve your spot.
A couple of reminders…
There are a few bikes still available on the For Sale page.
We still need volunteers for the Victorian Downhill Series race at Mt Buller. Plus there’s also the Bike Buller MTB Fest and the Mansfield Tour.
More details here and you can email Ben here about volunteering for the VDHS.
Congratulations to Kian Lerch-Mackinnon who rode to an impressive 6th place in Elite Men at the Nerrang round of the national mtb series on the weekend.
