Watch Talia Appleton in the Women’s U23 UCI World Championship Road Race at the Mansfield Hotel

If you aren't on MMBCC Whats App, you may not know that Browny from the Mansfield Hotel is putting Talia's race on the big TV at the pub this Thursday.
Live from Kigali, Rwanda, the Under 23 Women's Road Race starts from 9pm (coverage start time yet to be announced) and is expected to run until 12.30am. It will be a fantastic opportunity to join with other cyclists and cheer Talia on. We already have a group of 20 confirmed supporters but more would be great!
We don't have many social events, but we reckon this one will be memorable.

Club kit
MMBCC Central has had some enquiries about ordering MMBCC Ventou club kit. And, as it happens, Ventou have just launched a new range of high quality jerseys and bib knicks.
As you might remember, we need at least ten pieces to meet the minimum requirements.
If anyone else is interested, please email Bruce and we’ll organise to get the Ventou webshop open to take orders.
Very surprisingly, MMBCC Central hasn’t heard from John about this.
Shifty Fifty Results
In the final round of the Shifty Fifty Series (the Warburton race in November isn’t part of the overall series) MMBCC members had a great day!
In the full Gippy Shifty Fifty at Blores Hill, Ruby Dobson was the first woman home and came 27th overall.
In the Shifty Shorty Ben Ross won! Cam Dobson was 4th and Tim Ross 6th!
