The 2023 Mansfield Hotel Tour powered by Orcoda

Saturday 4 and Sunday 5 March 2023

Brought to you by…

In 2023 the Mansfield Mt Buller Cycling Club will host The Mansfield Hotel Tour powered by Orcoda on Saturday 4 and Sunday 5 March.

Here’s a little video of the 2022 race…

Changes for 2023

Free entry for C-grade Women

We want to encourage more women to race. For 2023 we’ll give C-grade Women a free entry into the Mansfield Tour.

All you need to do is enter the Tour as normal and if AusCycling Vic assign you a start in C-grade Women, we’ll refund 100% of your entry fee! You’ll still be eligible for all the usual prizes, including the Mansfield Hotel or All Terrain Cycles jersey, you just won’t have to pay.

New Time Trial Course

There will be a new Time Trial Course for Stage 1. A new loop has just been completed, just south of the centre of Mansfield. A 10km anti-clockwise loop will be used, starting on Stoneleigh Road and finishing nearby on Monkey Gully Road. Scroll down for Stage 1 details for a map and profile.

Road open for Mt Buller stage

The climb up Mt Buller for Stage 3 will now be open to vehicular traffic - you won’t have the road to yourselves.

And as we’ve become used to over the last couple of years, a COVIDsafe plan will be in place for the whole weekend. All participants, officials and spectators will be required to maintain social distancing where possible and adhere to the plan.

Spectator recommendations

Stage 1

  • The ITT course is open to traffic, so travel clockwise around the course (opposite to the riders) and choose a spot. From within the Merinda Park estate, there are beautiful views across and down the Owens Creek valley towards Mansfield.

Stage 2

  • Photographers, get to the top of Corn Hill, near the corner of Buttercup Road and take some great shots of riders climbing up Corn Hill for the QoM/KoM, with Mt Buller in the background.

  • Drive north out of Mansfield along the Whitfield Road, turn right onto Barwite Road, then right again onto Old Tolmie Road. Head up the hill and turn left onto Soldiers Road for parking and cheer them across the line on top of the Coombesberg.

Stage 3

  • Get up to Mt Buller to cheer the riders as they cross the line.
